Mitchell, the highest point east of the Mississippi River, located a little more than 30 miles north of Asheville. You simply cannot beat the views!

The most popular are the Outer Banks, which includes Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Roanoke Island and Cape Hatteras.
